Import Windows authenticated web site unauthorized error

I'm attempting to use Application Manager to import a .Net 4.0 based web site that uses Windows authentication for handling the login duties. I've tried completing the import both with and without credentials, but either way I always get a failure message reporting back a 401 Unauthenticated error from the server.
