I recently upgraded one of our InstallScriptMSI projects from InstallShield 2013 to 2014.
One of the developers noticed that his code changes weren't in the latest version, and contacted me. After searching though logs, it seems that when upgrading from a version of the installer that was created with IS 2013 to a version that was created with IS 2014, one of the features gets completely skipped during an upgrade. But the other features are still there and being upgraded as expected.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the product works to get around this issue, as does doing two upgrades (IS 2013 version -> IS 2014 version and then IS 2014 to later IS 2014 version), so I'm fairly certain this is specific to moving from 2013 to 2014.
I am completely stumped when it comes to fixing it. Help?
