Cannot lock the server to a dongle (Can't get hostid of type 51[])

I try to lock the server to a dongle but I cannot start the vendor deamon. I get the error "Can't get hostid of type 51[]" in the vendor log file.

Below is the license file that vendor deamon uses.

SERVER <hostname> FLEXID=10-xxxxxxxx
VENDOR <vendor-name>
FEATURE ...... HOSTID=ANY SIGN=....

Dongle driver (wibu) is installed. I can see the flexid with lmtools tool. I can lock the application to the same dongle (without server). Also I can start the vendor deamon when the server is locked to ethernet. System is Windows XP Service Pack 3
